James Duddridge MP is encouraging residents to apply for funding from the Aviva Community Funds scheme which awards funding of up to £25000 for local community projects across a range of categories such as elderly residents health, wellbeing and community sporting activities.
Mr Duddridge feels it is a fantastic opportunity for,local projects. He said "This is a great opportunity for community projects in Rochford and Southend to secure additional funding. I am aware of the hard work many local groups carry out which benefits local residents and I encourage all community groups in the area to apply for the funding".
The Aviva Community Fund will finance over 800 projects across four different fund levels and six categories. Applications can be made at http://www.aviva.co.uk/good-thinking/community-fund/
