The Southend Conservatives have revealed their budget amendments as part of their plan to Get the High Street Sorted and Unleash Southends potential.


It has today been announced that a local solution has been agreed for collection of undelivered items and that collection will be staying at Great Wakering Post Office. This is great news for Royal Mail, the Post Office and of course the constituents. 

Great Wakering Post Office petition a success

After James received notice that constituents would no longer be able to collect undelivered items from Great Wakering Post Office, he started a campaign to keep the service local. Over 500 residents signed the petitions from James that were delivered to shops and businesses in the High Street and a meeting was held between Royal Mail and the Subpostmaster at James' offices.

Roy Pearson

Councillor Roy Pearson, Essex County Councillor and President of Rochford and Southend East Conservative Association, has past away, he will be much missed by his family and all of those who knew him.

Out and About with Nick and Vicky

James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, was joined by Vicky Ford MEP and Nick Alston, Conservative Police Crime Commissioner Candidate for an action packed day in the constituency recently. James invited Vicky and Nick to spend a day out and about in Rochford and Southend visiting various communities, organisations and community events.
